Humans wage war on one another while the moon glows majestically above us bearing witness to the Horror of it all. Some day we will honor this earth and one another as we should. When you lose your father at 21, you always wonder what your life would have been if he had stayed around. I know that I never stopped to really wrap my brain around your loss or I would have broken all the way down. So I used your absence as the wind beneath my wings, to fuel my passions forward even when I was afraid of things. Thank You Daddy for your smile, your laugh, your sweet tenor voice, your kindness, and most of all for your way of making a super sensitive girl feel like she was a giant.
